This 3mm shanked, 1,200 grit ceramic brush is a versatile tool for many finishing applications including: surface polishing, deburring, removal tool marks, and EDM scale. The ceramic fiber bristles produce a uniform finish. Color coded red for easy grit identification. Easily dress all shapes and angles on the brushes using a diamond file. For example you can dress a 45-degree angle to match the form of your work surface. Can be used wet or dry. Use in a micromotor handpiece or in a CNC machine. Always wear appropriate safety items, especially goggles, gloves, protective mask, long sleeve shirt and pants. The grinding powder can damage machine parts. During polishing use a dust collector and keep the equipment clean to avoid the abrasive powder from entering inside the machinery. Maximum RPM is 15,000rpm, recommended is 6,000 - 12,000rpm.
