Loose Plum Buffs are soft and flexible, so they follow contours easily, and are generally used for final polishing with rouge or other high-shine compound. Gesswein Plum buffs are chemically treated to impart an amazing finish on precious metals. The special treatment creates a firm buff and greatly reduces wear. Plum Muslin Buffs retain compound extremely well, producing a brighter finish than other buffs. Made of fine-weave muslin with combed edges; all with highest quality thread count of 86/80. The pin-hole leather centers are also injected with shellac for longevity and to hold the buffs firmly on a tapered spindle.
