Engineered for maximum performance, our Purple Mounted Stones feature a proprietary blend of friable Sol Gel ceramic grain and high-quality pink fused aluminum oxide. This premium formulation delivers the sharpest cutting action and most durable performance of any vitrified bond stone in our lineup. Designed for high-nickel alloys and common steels, they’re especially suited for aerospace applications and demanding precision work. Available in 80, 100, and 120 grits, all stones are securely mounted on 1-1/2" plated steel shanks. Can be dressed with our Tru-Stone.
