A strong, durable, Oval Head flush cutter capable of cutting soft wire up to 18 ga. (1 mm). This cutter features a unique wire retaining clip that holds cut-off pieces of wire allowing for a neater workspace and a convenient way to collect and reclaim precious metal scraps. The clip is also excellent for trimming prongs during stone setting! Manufactured from high carbon steel and heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 56-58C. A built-in return spring and cushioned, non-slip soft rubber hand grips provide comfort and control.
All Xuron® cutters employ Xuron’s Micro-Shear® technology. When compared to traditional cutters this produces a cleaner cut, reduced cutting effort and longer blade life, because the sharp edges are not meeting edge to edge.
